Twitter Updates the Analytics Tab for Professional Accounts
Twitter is making more and more of the potential it has to become one of the leading social media for professionals. Now, it’s adding new features in the analytics display for Professional accounts. This new display is the ultimate overview of how your account has been performing and what can be done to improve it.
The analytics display is the tab that shows all the key performance stats, like total tweet impressions during the given period, engagement rate, profile visits, and link clicks. These metrics are important for pros and are necessary as a part of what makes the account a Professional one. Seeing them, you will be able to check your performance dynamics and see what’s gone wrong or, on the contrary, been efficient.
Not that these metrics weren’t available before the introduction of this tab. Still, having them all in the same place is convenient, it saves time, and it allows for more insights that come from comparing and analyzing the data. Also, when Twitter adds new original metrics or derivative insights, it can do it right here, easy to see for everyone. The tab also contains links to Professional Account tools and settings that are easier to access from this page when you’ve come to certain conclusions that require revisiting these.
The change is not critical for your performance; neither is it the reason to switch to professional if your account doesn’t require it. It’s rather a little revamping, making the experience a little easier and more fun. Still, if Twitter has any plans to go further in this direction, introducing a dedicated tab for analytics is a great start.
To access it. Click the “More” button at the bottom of the menu to the right and then select “Professional Home”. Have you already seen this tab? Does it feel more convenient to you? What is the greatest thing about it, as for you? Share your impressions with us in the comments if you please!
