Twitter Adds New Payment Option For Its Creators

If you want to tip your favorite content creator on Twitter, they will have a much easier time receiving the money thanks to the new regional-based payment providers. Thanks to this update, Twitter users will be able to use Paytm, Barter by Flutterwave, and Paga to accept tips.

Paytm is an incredibly popular payment system in India with over 333 million users, while Paga and Barter are payment systems that are used in the African region. This addition of these payment options is a great way to support content creators that come from these regions, allowing them to easily withdraw money that comes from tips.

Furthermore, Twitter has announced that it will also start supporting payments made using Ethereum. Ethereum is the second cryptocurrency that can be used on Twitter to tip and withdraw money. The first cryptocurrency that was adopted by Twitter was, of course, Bitcoin, which was added back in September.
