Twitch Rivals Raffled $75K at Warzone Iron Trials Showdown
Raven Software added a new super-intense Iron Trials '84 mode to Call of Duty: Warzone in September. The essence has remained the same, it's still the good old battle royale, but the rules have become stricter. Nervous and badly-prepared players have nothing to do there. In these conditions, Twitch Rivals decided to host a competition and give away $75000 as part of the Iron Trials Showdown event.
Considering that the mode appeared quite recently, it was something new to watch. Teams of three players could take part in it; in total, 129 users joined the game (43 teams). All fans could watch the walkthrough in real-time since all participants were streaming. The event itself consisted of five matches and, as a result, took just over four hours.
Although the board leaders received the largest amount, all the teams that entered the top 49 got small cash prizes. The final result was influenced by the number of kills committed and placements, as in any multiplayer shooter. Following the results of five matches, the itsEyeQew team took first place by a huge margin, having received $15000 for their game and earning 134.1 points. The bbreadman squad followed them with a score of 111 points and a cash prize of $12000. The top three were closed by the Tommey team, who received 97.5 points and earned $9000.
The ItsEyeQew squad showed excellent results at the very start, and according to the results of the first two maps, occupied the leading position. Further three matches only consolidated this result so that other players simply could not keep up with them. The gap between first and second place was 23 points. An impressive result, isn't it? Have you already tried out the new CoD: Warzone mode? What do you think about it?
