Snapchat Contracts Zynga to Deliver An Among Us Clone

Thanks to the immense popularity of InnerSloth’s mega-hit Among Us, in the past year, app stores have been swarmed with dozens of clone games. We have even seen Epic Games jump in on that hype train with its Fortnite Impostors! For a long time, Snapchat has been the only one hesitant to pick up on the undying trend, but that is likely to change too, as the company is partnering with Zynga to produce ReVamp – Snapchat’s version of the famous social deception multiplayer game.

The new vampire-spirited title will be a welcome addition to Snapchat’s diverse and extensive collection of in-app Snap Games. The feature was first introduced in 2019 and has quickly grown to include some fascinating gems like Bitmoji Party, Zombie Rescue Squad, Animal Restaurants, Battleship, Pizza Cat, and others.

What Is The New Game About?

In contrast to Among Us with its funny bulbous astronauts in colorful spacesuits, ReVamp features a bunch of cartoonish humanoid characters and a few vampires who infiltrated their ranks waiting on the opportunity to strike. The goal is simple and entertaining – run around the old house under renovation, carry out different tasks, and figure out who the bloodsucker in disguise is while simultaneously trying to avoid being killed.

What Is Known So Far?

This vampire-themed social deception game is expected to launch in several markets exclusively for Snapchat. It is known that ReVamp is going to be a multiplayer title, although its minimum and maximum party count, as well as the exact release date, are yet to be announced.
