Leaks Involving GTA Online’s Long-Awaited Update Has Fans Upset
Fans of GTA Online are outraged after a fresh leak showed that the much anticipated December update isn't exactly what they were anticipating. The year has passed since the update for the Cayo Perico Heist, and traditionally, around December, GTA Online gets a significant update, which may or may not happen this year.
According to Tez2, a well-known and trustworthy Rockstar Games source, the upcoming update will be less significant than prior December upgrades. The insider said on Twitter that the update is dubbed "Fixers," and that it is expected to introduce more Tuner-alike contracts to the game.
Because Dr. Dre is involved, the legitimate business, as Rockstar implied, would most likely be centered around music and expand via new contracts. As you can imagine, fans, who were hoping for a large and substantial update to the game next month, didn’t like this leak.
Fans complain and don’t understand why Rockstar doesn’t provide players with the mafia and naval DLC. Fans would rather spend 30M on furnishings and decorating instead of the DLC they don’t enjoy.
“Everyone on the planet: 'Omggg it's heist month, which means we're going to get a fresh heist, RIGHT?!
“And fixers are mostly concerned with bug fixes. Godmode must be disabled, MK2 must be toned down, and several additional adjustments, as well as performance patches, are required. " A third fan responds.
