Google Music App Fails Android Auto Owners

Outraged by numerous bugs in Music App, drivers complain about Google Play Music service. It looks like Americans' most favorite Google Play Music is still on the mind of many devoted fans. Once it was replaced with YouTube Music, Android Auto owners began to complain about the poor quality of the new app. The platform was not obviously prepared to work together with the Android car app.

And this is how Google began its long and definitely troublesome process to improve the YouTube Music service. The company improved features and fixed bugs, trying to make the app more compatible with the auto. They did a good job but did not fix everything. According to the recent report, Reddit users noticed that YouTube Music does not shuffle playlists properly and keeps repeating the same songs for the Android Auto. It is most inconvenient since drivers can’t constantly get distracted from the road to break the loop.

The same problem appears on both Android Auto for mobile and Android Auto full version. Some users say that the service works correctly after you disconnect the phone from the auto and the main unit. It means that the major problem is in the synchronization with Android Auto. However, Google does not make any comments about this situation.

What Can You Do for Now?

While Google refuses to make comments on Android Auto issue or the music app, there is not much you can do. Yet, you can try to clear your cache and restart the phone. Still, there is no guarantee the problem will be fixed. You can try third parties or listen to music from your phone to avoid songs stuck on repeat for hours.

And even though we all miss Google Play Music that was killed by Google last year, you don’t have much choice. If you want to stay with Google, you have to get used to YouTube Music eventually. Developers work hard to fix all the problems. But those who don’t want to deal with the minor bugs can try Spotify services.
