Fans Leave Thousands of Negative Reviews on Total War: Three Kingdoms
This weekend, the developers of Total War: Three Kingdoms weren’t happy to see fans of the game leave a huge number of negative reviews on Steam. The reason for this outrage is that the Creative Assembly, the developers of this game, announced that there won’t be any updates after the last one.
In the past, the developers made several promises to the Total War: Three Kingdoms fans. There have been complaints about bugs, so it seemed that they were working on fixing those. And, another thing that has been promised is adding more to the North of the map. Now, fans are angry that they won’t see the improvements they were waiting for. As a result of their dissatisfaction, the rating of the game has turned from being ‘Mostly Positive’ to ‘Overwhelmingly Negative.’ Fans complained that they wasted hours playing the game and now feel completely betrayed by the developers.
It seems that the main thing that concerns players is that numerous bugs will continue to stay in the game. Back in 2020, the developers mentioned misplacing a mountain and said that they will both fix this problem and build out the North of the map. Over the weekend, the game received a patch that moved the mountain to the right location, but nothing happened to the North. While the disappointment of fans is obvious, we have to still wait and see how the creators of the game will handle this situation. Obviously, no developer wants to suddenly have a bad rating on their biggest title because it affects their reputation. It's possible that they will come up with something for damage control.
What do you think about this decision? Do you think we can expect any updates after all the complaints? Please, tell us what you think about this situation in the comments below.
