CS: GO Updates Maps, Fixes Bugs, and Brings New Capsules
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, an iconic online shooter, received a fresh update on November 9. The most important changes in this update concern two popular maps, namely Extraction and Insertion II. Along with that, there are new capsules, bug fixes, and even audio changes that will be heard rather than seen.
While most of the updates are fairly characterized as “bug fixes”, some of them really change the gameplay. In Insertion II, for example, a cubicle and a desk in the office room are added, an unbreakable glass from Pizza is removed, and the hostage rescue zone became a bit smaller. In Extraction, a self boost in the middle and a new cover in the wine room is added, and glass objects became easier to break. Finally, there are some video and audio improvements. Though they are rather minor, they can change the experience, removing the most annoying elements like loud doors or helicopters.
Along with these map tweaks, the update features Stockholm 2021 Autograph Capsules for Champions and Finalists. Despite the name, anyone can buy these capsules, and 50% of the proceeds are distributed among the players and the organization. The capsules contain autographs by champions like s1mple, electronic, Boombl4, b1t, and Perfecto. Along with it, there is a new music kit by The Verkkars & n0thing – a potential club banger named Flashbang Dance. Get ready for tons of videos to this song.
Finally, the bug with smoke grenades is finally fixed. Now, as a grenade explodes over burning tires and traces to the ground, it does not affect players.
