Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Reboot Teased

Grace Edwards 31 Jan 2022

The web is currently overflowing with reports that the next Call of Duty installment, Call of Duty 2022, will be a rebooted version of 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This chapter became one of the players’ favorite installments in the entire series along with the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2007, Call of Duty Black Ops, and Call of Duty Black Ops 2.

The Scope Gets Bigger

All the rumors are based on the recent report by the popular Call of Duty leaker Ralph, who has always been providing true information in his reports. This time. Ralph contacted one of the ex-developers from Infinity Ward. The insider says that the scope of the upcoming reboot will be much bigger than in the 2019 game, which means that the game will become one of the most ambitious projects by the developer so far. The insider adds that it’s very difficult to successfully follow up such a game as Modern Warfare because of the rapidly growing scope.

Hopefully, the upcoming Modern Warfare chapter won’t have such a spoiled solo campaign as the recent Call of Duty: Vanguard. That’s highly probably as the studio seems to focus more on the quality of multiplayer rather than on campaigns because the first is simply much more profitable.

Stay Tuned

Unfortunately, that’s all we have about the potential continuation of the Modern Warfare series reboot, so you should stay tuned until we publish the updates. Ralph publishes new details as soon as the insiders share more information, so we hope to receive more info soon. What do you expect from the 2022 Modern Warfare reboot, by the way? Will it be as good as the 2019 installment or as spoiled as the 2021 Call of Duty: Vanguard? Feel free to discuss it further in the comments section down below. You can also share the news with other fans of the game so that they join our discussion.
