An Update for Among Us is on the Way
Innersloth — the studio behind the space murder mystery — has announced that a pack of changes is coming to Among Us.
First of all, the game’s looks will get new details. According to Innersloth, the game won’t be radically reworked. But a few subtle changes will be added to make the gameplay better.
And one of such details is cleaner lines. (Whatever that means). There will be more changes to the game’s graphics. But the studio didn’t specify which.
All we know is that 6 new colors will also be added to the game’s tone palette. As the studio claims:
“… in terms of accessibility and colorblindness, we hope to move away from colors being the defining way people identify each other. We're workshopping ideas for that though."
Another cool feature they are baking at the moment, is a lobby that can handle 15 players. Therefore, they are planning to add a bigger meeting screen
Intro sequences will also get some reworking. For example, they will let players focus better on who got killed. Additionally, they are working on a notorious bug, which sometimes turns players into colorful rectangles on some mobile devices.
The release for the upgrade is unknown. But what we know is that Among Us is coming to Xbox this summer.
