Fall Guys is a unique mix of battle royale, arcade, and platform genres where you have to compete against other players performing weird tasks. The game was developed by Mediatonic, and released by Devolver Digital. It appeared in 2020, on the Windows and PlayStation 4 platforms. The game quickly became popular internationally.

The gameplay is pretty easy to keep up with. One game Fall Guys contains numerous mini-games you have to succeed in. It is separated into matches. One match is open for up to 60 gamers. The match is made of several rounds. In every round players receive different tasks they have to perform. Those players who did not manage to do it, can go back to the very beginning and start everything from the scratch.

Mini-games can be made for one player only or a team of 2-4 people, depending on the task. There are different conditions in every game as well. Your goal may be to run faster than others or to hold on longer than others. There are tasks that have pretty clear goals, like hitting more balls than the other team and winning the scores.

One game after another and you will see that the number of participants decreases. You will continue to receive new tasks until there will be only you left. This means that you win the game. You can now go and rejoice with your friends. There is an in-game currency which is called Kudos that provides emotes and cosmetics to players. You can receive the money by winning matches.

Game is available on platforms, including Windows, Xbox, Nintendo, and mobile devices running Android or iOS. Being a battle royale game it welcomes 60 gamers at once. With all these platforms and genres, developers created simple controls that will not glitch and freeze during the match. It is incredibly colorful and you have to adjust your vision to get used to everything that is happening around you. As it appears to be a bizarre explosion of hues featuring numerous whimsical figures, it requires a moment to regain your bearings before you can sprint, leap, or grasp anything.

This is an evergreen game. You may not even get to the middle of the match for the first several days in the game. Yet, you will definitely appreciate the wide range of options in front of you. You will not get bored by all those games you are offered. But if you feel like there are too many familiar things in your life, you can change the character, invite your friends to join, or choose a completely new strategy.

Difficulty level

This is not the easiest game to play mainly because of its overdose. There are too many colors at once, running in front of you, behind you, at your sides. It is happening with the vivid landscapes in the background that quickly change each other with each match.
