Fortnite July 6 Hotfix: Alien Nanites & More

Fortnite V17.10 or the July 6 Hotfix is already available for all the players. The update brings several valuable samples of alien technology into the gameplay. Now you can add new guns to your ammo, change the laws of physics, and more. We’ve covered all the changes for you in this quick update review. 

Alien Nanites

Thow just a single alien nanite to the right place, and you will recreate the atmosphere of an alien planet. This localized low-gravity micro-biome feels like jelly when you enter it because the alien planet is extremely humid. Jump into the “jelly” and start swimming inside. The good thing is that you can jump out of it at any height, and you won’t get hurt on the landing. 

There’s also an alternative use for nanites. Similar to bolts and nuts, you can use them as crafting items. Here are the deadly recipes: 

• One nanite with a Rare+ Submachine Gun makes a Kymera Ray Gun;
• One nanite with a Rare+ Assault Rifle makes a Pulse Rifle;
• One nanite with a Rare+ Sniper makes a Rail Gun. 

By the way, you can find the new nanites in the Mothership, on the peaks of Abductors, or simply on the ground. 

Zyg and Choppy

Beware of the Alien Choppy and his robot Zyg, who plant some king of parasite eggs all over the Fortnite island. You can try to stop them and achieve a special version of the Ray Gun, which is much more powerful than the already kickass Kymera Ray Gun. 

What Else?

The Holly Hedges area is now taken over by the Alien civilization. These three-toed guys have added their biomes around the houses and grown their homeland plants to feel like home. Make them a visit if you want to catch some high-end alien tech.
