The February Update For Xbox Is Now Available
An update for Xbox consoles has been launched, introducing several fresh functionalities. The highlight of the update is the introduction of touch control compatibility within Xbox Remote Play. This feature enhances gaming-on-the-go by enabling players to use their smartphones to enjoy their favorite games off console. As reported by Xbox Wire, this functionality supports touch controls on over a hundred games when accessed via the Xbox app on iOS, Android, and Windows devices. Even for games that haven't been optimized specifically, a generic touch control scheme is now available to use.
Additional enhancements include a new tool for recalibrating the thumbsticks on Xbox Wireless Controllers to address minor issues like erratic responses, improved filtering and sorting options, and a feature that automates the sign-out process once playtime ends. This automatic sign-out is particularly useful for Xbox consoles in shared settings such as dormitories and hospitals.
